Eat Defeat plus special guests on Saturday 23rd June 2018

Eat Defeat are making their long awaited Underground debut and theyre bringing Friday Night Lights, Mammoth Tank and FadeLikeRockets with them!

Eat Defeat

Eat Defeat are 4 guys from Leeds, UK, blending a shared love of pop music, fast skate punk and upbeat pop punk to create high energy melodic songs.

Bucking the current trend of pop punk becoming an overly sentimental and downbeat state of affairs, Eat Defeat aren't afraid to promote an optimistic attitude and have fun with their music. The band's upbeat and positive messages are especially prevalent in their colourful and energetic live shows, with a reputation for mass singalongs and literal crowd surfing. On a surfboard.

The essence of the band is p...erfectly captured on their 2016 EP Time & Tide, combining huge hooks and vocal harmonies with fast tempo punk rock. They perfectly blend old school influences with new to produce something more than the sum of these separate parts, a nostalgic yet wholly relevant brand of uplifting pop punk.

The bands recent album 'Time and Tide' released on London based Umlaut Records was promoted with a UK and European tour and had rave reviews in the press which earned them an invite to perform a live session on BBC Introducing. Their video to 'Shortcuts' went viral on social media racking up over 60,000 views in its first 2 weeks. 2017 saw them release the album in Japan which was featured in Tower Records and followed up with a headline Tour of Japan.

All in all, Eat Defeat are for fans of anything fast, loud, melodic and fun.

'There's very little to find fault with on 'Time and Tide', as every single measure has been executed to near perfection. It's suitably beefy, it's got hooks coming out of its ears - even the release date for the very start of summer couldn't have been any more perfectly timed. This is a true feat in a genre that's dying for a change of pace, and one that shouldn't go unnoticed.' - Already Heard

'It's fast, it's fun, and it's DIY pop-punk at its finest. This EP is a quick venture into the world of pop-punk, filled with mosh-pit inducing tracks, catchy melodies, and memorable guitar riffs. The British four-piece know how to deliver something concise, yet fun, and still leave us wanting more at the end of it. What more can you ask for?' - Shameless Promo.

'The perfect summer sound to make you smile.' - Kerrang Magazine.

Tour history:
Multiple UK and EU headline runs, Japanese headline tour. Opened for Anti Flag, Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies, The Ataris, The Swellers.

Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights are a four piece, Punk/Post-hardcore effort from Leeds. They have an impressive history in music between them already and their shared experience creates an explosive and whole hearted live set.
With recent airplay on BBC Introducing and shows from Scotland to Poland lined up with bands like GBH, it seems they might only be warming up...

Mammoth Tank

We Formed in late 2013 when two previous bands, the Drastics and Snuff Rock, came to an end, and Tony, Mark, Dean and Alex decided to join together and have a jam.
New songs began to quickly emerge and we started to get some local gigs.
In September 2016 Alex decided to leave the band, and in November Warren took over the drumming duties, having previously drummed for Too Many Chiefs and The Negatives.

We're always on the lookout for gigs, and we're not fussy where we play - so far we've been lucky enough to play on stage at well known venues such as Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, Wakefields Warehouse 23, Manchesters Famous Star & Garter pub, and The Parish in Huddersfield, among many other pubs and clubs in the region, and one or two further afield (including one which resulted in getting lost in deepest, darkest Lancashire - terrifying!)

In our short time we've already supported the likes of UK Subs, Vice Squad, Subhumans, and supported TV Smith at Bradfords legendary 1 in 12 club.

We hope to be stampeding into venues all over and blasting our music into your ears! Enjoy!
