Founded in 1919, Bournemouth Little Theatre Club (originally Bournemouth Dramatic and Orchestral Club) had very humble beginnings - staging its early productions in the homes of club members. The dedication of the founding fathers (and mothers, of course) soon created Bournemouth Little Theatre Club Ltd which enabled bank loans to be raised and shares issued to fund the building of the Club's own prestigious theatre.
