The Coastal Comedy Fundraising Show with TV Headliner Gareth Ric on Saturday 17th November 2018
The Coastal Comedy Fundraising Show with TV Headliner Gareth Richards!
Staged by Coastal Comedy who in their first year reached the semi-finals for the 'Best Night Out Award' as part of the prestigious Bournemouth Tourism Awards. Then reached the finalist stage in 2017 and have again become a finalist this year as part of the BAPTAs 2018. The DCF have our very own fundraising show booked in an intimate venue at Collegiate School.
Enjoy a top night of comedy with 4 acts and host and see Gareth Richards live!
As seen on:
Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC2)
Live at the Electric (BBC3) and heard live on Radio 1!
Gareth has also co-hosted Frank Skinner’s Sony award-winning Absolute Radio show for two years and supported Frank on his 2014 tour. His hilarious stand-up, silly jokes and gorgeously low-key comedy songs have made him an instant favourite on the comedy circuit.
“A delightful hour of comedy” The Guardian
Opening the show is the hilarious comedy magician Wayne the Weird with his outrageous on-stage tomfoolery! Incorporating stand-up comedy, with magic.
Also appearing on the night is Mike Cox, winner of the prestigious Fosters South Coast Comedian of the Year Award. Mike’s sharp wit and everyday cynicism have made him one to watch on the comedy circuit in recent years.
This fantastic night of comedy also features Aaron Simmonds Finalist for BBC New Comedy Award 2017 and is hosted by Adrienne Coles.
Includes a welcome drink from Conker Gin and Canapes by Urban Guild all for just £20.
So come and enjoy a belly laugh whilst helping us raise funds for local sick and differently abled children. The Dorset Children’s Foundation is an independent local charity dedicated to improving the lives of sick and differently abled children living within our community. We fund medical expenses mobility equipment and therapies not covered by the NHS.
The DCF run 3 successful charity shops which more than cover our modest costs, so 100% of donations go directly to help a local sick or disabled child. We promise that your donation will never be used to cover the day to day operational costs of the charity
