From my daughters point of view this wasn't as good as the previous year, as you weren't working/preparing on your own - she was sharing with 3 others.

We booked this cooking session Festival started last 2015 and this year I'm so Disappointed to say It was chaotic. I prefer last year as it was well organised.. proper set of tables on maximum children (per table) the kids actually do the preparations and cooking.. and make turns. I'm sorry to say I prefer the man( forgot the name of their company) who did in clitheroe for last few years as he did it very well .

What an amazing workshop, my two children really enjoyed the well planned out workshop, full of brilliant, healthy ideas for the children to try.
I wish there was something like this in Clitheroe for my children to join in, I would definitely pay for them to attend!

Very poor and disappointed. A lot of the children didn't get a chance to participate and there was no proper instruction/guidance. Would not recommend and will not attend again. Glad we didn't pay more because it was a complete letdown.

Poorly organised, too busy and very little for the children to actually do. Not exciting and not enough to keep children entertained. The queues to get cooked food afterwards were so long we didn't even bother to wait the 30 minutes to try what was made. Not a patch on the fantastic experience of last year! Bring back the chef and his fabulous interactive workshop!

We were really disappointed with the layout of the room and tables. Far too many children for the limited stations for cooking and chopping. We have been to two previous cooking classes at Clitheroe food festival which were brilliant. We walked out after 5 mins as there was not enough room

Really fun activity for children and great for learning some independent cooking skills!last year refreshments were on sale for parents whilst the children cooked but there was sadly nothing this year.please bring them back!!

Fantastic event for children. Also roped in the adults so that was great fun. Very well organised (all in the preparation). Chef was great with the children. Having an end product to take away for their efforts was just great and the chefs hat as a reminder. Must do this again. Allison

The cooking class with my daughter was absolutely fantastic....It was well organised, lots of fun and we made lovely food....Chef or Cook Holden was excellent......I wish that there were more interactive things for both children & adults to take part in within the festival. This would perhaps make it even more interesting than simply buying food from stalls (although the food is fantastic)....A massive ask would be a safe area for the under 5's to be or sit with their adults to enable them to enjoy the food / music / atmosphere without being trampled on by all the other foodies! The food festival is fantastic we love it & the above are just ideas x
