RETRO - The Best Years special 89 to 96 @ BVSMNT Lancashire

We're going back to where it all began with a RETRO 89 to 96 special - THE BEST YEARS and we're holding it at the superb BVSMNT - The Old Co-op building in Darwen Lancashire, the perfect venue for this event, an underground warehouse basement with a huge sound system.... very Angels like!

A stellar line up chosen because they were thereand features ....

DJ RICK JONES a resident at Angels who played alongside the likes of Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold and has developed his own unique sound from this era - it's great to have him onboard....

DJ SEMPIE was also a regular player at Angels and made his reputation by playing and featuring the unique piano sound of ITALO House, his set will focus on this genre, we can't wait!

DJ BEN TAYLOR is Paul Taylor's son and at the tender age of 14 used to sneak in to Angels to see his dad play! Ben's musical knowledge of this era is unsurpassed, he cut his teeth at the iconic venue and played his first ever set here, Ben's record collection from this era is huge and he also went on to create his own unique sound.

... last but certainly not least and needs little introduction is the main man -  founder of Retro and one time owner of the iconic Angels PAUL TAYLOR will feature with an extended 2 hour set, he played at BVSMNT on new year's eve and loved the venue so he's back!
