A good game with fast attacking football. The better team won, unfortunately, as I would have liked to see Darwen progress and pocket the winnings. At least with an attendance which was around three times the average boosted the coffers. Barnoldswick could have scored several more goals had it not been for heroic last-ditch tackles and saves from the home defenders and goalkeeper.
Skiddle were very helpful.
