Carnival was a really good night, so many different rooms and music

Good music. Venue was alright. Not enough security. I was at the front of General Levy and a girl was continually spitting in my friends face and she burnt me with a cigarette, there was no security anywhere and as a result my friend and I had to leave as we were scared for our personal safety. Very upsetting ordeal.
Only thing to fault was the rain.
Brilliant night out. However, security was awful, unacceptable, far to over aggressive and needs to be seriously looked at.
I'm a great fan of rainbow venues but last night their organisation was terrible, it was overcrowded in many areas and the queue to get inside was very unsafe. I was pushed and shoved for 40mins in the rain and when finally getting to the front me and my two friends (both young girls) were aggressively grabbed by bouncers and shoved into the crowd. I was shocked and upset by being grabbed by my shoulders after doing nothing, the crowd was pushing so hard from behind I couldn't stand. My friend was pushed so hard her top was pulled partly off. Another friend in the same crowd cut her leg and was sent home. Later in the night the crowds settled and the music was good but the we were treated at the start was ridiculous, especially for an event costing £20 minimum.
Was a really fun night but should have been more prepared for the rain
Poorly controlled crowds and bouncers were unnecessarily aggressive. People too crammed inside due to torrential rain. Unfortunately a very poor experience.
Unbelievable atmosphere, best night I've ever had
Music was pretty average. The event seemed too overbooked. They could not even accommodate people trying to go inside when it started raining heavily. It didn't help that 'security' were pushing, yelling and hitting people back and preventing them from getting inside. They should have been prepared for bad weather and had more sheltered space. It was definitely not worth the £33 I paid.
Best festival I've attended.
All my opinion but sure lots of people would share. Had high hopes but ended up being quite disappointed. Lots of the trouble started when it started raining (obviously no helping that) but of course everyone wanted to get inside. Was not helped by there being too many people have there anyway. Lots of confusion eventually queued for about 25 minutes to get inside. Everyone was pushing as well.
Was quite fun dancing in the rain outside but music inside was definitely aimed at those who just wanted a beat and not good tunes.
Not really a carnival atmosphere and very little decoration. A few flags and one food van does not make a carnival.
Also drinks are absolutely ridiculously overpriced and tasted like they had been watered down. I think the venue lacked a lot of bar staff for the huge crowds- at least a 15 minute to pay £7.50 for a drink that tasted like flat carbonated water and a tiny bit of vodka. I don't think I need to say why the drinks are so over priced. On top of £20/ £30 for a tick*t and price of taxi it's a very expensive night out.
Basically underwhelming and very overpriced night for people who want to gurn to a beat rather than dance.
It was ok. The venue was really cool, but a lot of it was outside, and it was tipping it down. The staff were really unfriendly - when I wanted to ask someone how to leave they were really rude without actually listening to what I was saying. They also made no effort to get people inside even though there was plenty of space, meaning I was completely drenched by the time I got in. I don't know why they didn't have the foresight to put up marquees/covers outside when it said it'd be raining either. The tick*ts were really overpriced - for that price I was expecting something out of this world, and it was basically just like any other club night but in a fancier venue.
Had a fantastic evening. Would recommend anyone who has an appreciation of ska/reggae/jungle to go to an event like this in the future.
Amazing visuals and high production value but queues were poorly maintained and they didn't serve tap water.
Great night would recommend

Rain didn't help. Organisation was awful. Lack of security SHOCKING.
Not prepared for rain - too many people wanting to go inside
want a refund lol
Insane, mad night, banging rave.
I loved the atmosphere and music but the crowd control inside was awful. It was terrifying and a lot of the smaller people were getting themselves hurt trying to get into the inside venues. I appreciate that you tried to put out barriers but it just didnt work and it was too little too late.
Absolutely disgusting. We didn't even get into the event. The chaos at the entrance was unbelievable. Drunk students with no stewards to manage entry. Paid to see David Radigan thinking it would be older people. What a joke. Just hundreds of drink students being man handled by two security.
It was good except entry to he warehouse was chaotic, it wasn't the securities fault but it was dangerously over sold by the looks of it because the amount of people trying to get inside was crazy!
Overall though it was a good night; not as good as last year or The Haunting though
Extremely poor (and quite frankly dangerous) treatment from the bouncers. Terribly organised and staff were not able to cope with the large capacity. I will be making a formal complaint and requesting a full refund.
Oversold - not physically enough room for everyone that was at the event. Made to feel like cattle. Little effort with displays, lighting, music etc.. compared to 2016. Will not be returning again was a big disappointment.
poor, security were rude and refused entry to a lot of people without good reason. clearly was overbooked. could have been a greta event, venue and music was good but the cost of the night for half my friends to be told they couldn't come in was not worth it, would not recommend
1 of the best Events I have ever played at & been involved with Carnival Magnifico was banggin from start to finish big up all the Rainbow Crew

The music was really great! I've only been in the arena, so I can't say how the music was in the other rooms. I've only been a short while in the others rooms/venues...it was a bit crowdy...especially on the roof top where it was overloaded with people....to much people I think.....I don't know (and hope not) if it is normal to serve warm beer, but I don't like that.

Amazing, however because the tent wasn't up should of had macs on sale! I'm now very ill 😭
Had an incredible night and will be attending next year.
The rain slightly ruined the event as it killed the happy summer vibes a bit and made queuing to get inside the club a nightmare and the arena became empty, many people complained that the queuing system was unfair and put them in a bad mood, there could also be more toilets as again the queues for loos was very very long. On the other hand, the music was good particularly the arena and blackbox and it was a very fun night, however most people agree that it wasn't as good as the year before despite the bigger production budget

Second year at carnival. Great music and atmosphere!
