Kaleidoscope #21 - Doxa / Pretty Grim / The People Assembly on Thursday 2nd April 2020

Please note, this event has been cancelled.

As we edge ever closer towards the summer and some long-awaited sunshine, Kaleidoscope returns for the 21st edition - and we've got three brand new bands for you, and a whole host of super-talented creatives. As ever it's free entry, and our DJs will be spinning the vinyl grooves all night under the liquid lights.

*** LIVE MUSIC ***

// Doxa //

Doxa is a four piece art-rock band from Birmingham. Born from the ashes of the fabled Mother's Earth Experiment, Doxa will be gracing us with their first ever live performance since their rebirth, and we can't wait to see what they've got in store for us. This is a debut performance not to be missed.

// Pretty Grim //

Pretty Grim are something of a local supergroup - comprised of Kaila Whyte of Youth Man, Anna Palmer of Dorcha, and Meesha Fones of both those bands. Pretty Grim create a concoction of grinding proto-metal and angular punk, with an infectious sense of both fun and aggression.

// The People Assembly //

Leicester-based post-space collective The People Assembly haven't wasted a second painting their world as they see it, gaining a reputation for fanatic, confrontational (and sometimes destructive) live performances involving a constantly rotating cast.

See you in the Kaleidoscope.
