The drinks prices were ridiculously high, with long queues too. There was no air conditioning. The toilets started off very nice, but were an absolute mess from halfway through the night and remained the same. Doorstaff were very friendly and were on top of any trouble, but some seemed not to really know what they were doing. The Mill is a great venue, and it wouldn't take much to make it superb.

Well I am very upset and disappointed as I went to the venue with a friend at around 7.30 to be told that 6pm was the last entry but this was not advertised on my tickets and not on your Instagram advert which was where I did my booking from so I have lost £68 or so. No one to speak to in regards to getting a refund. Door staff were very rude and impolite so I doubt I would ever go to this venue again. As for booking any tickets on Skiddle I would have to see.

The event was great, artists were fab (preferred it when people were on stage not just a DJ). I didn’t like all the smoke / vaping) in in the venue which happened in enclosed/inside areas too.

Venue was too bright, strobe lights were set higher to adjust for that and it felt like I was getting flashbanged. This was first session in Birmingham, I now think of it as Birmingham: city of cougars.

Awesome acts. Loved the vibe! Was no trouble which is always a first. Was a heavy smell of w**d in quite a few places which was a bit gross. But apart from that, it was awesome!

Music was amazing
Venue was way way over capacity and not enjoyable
Prices were ridiculous for drinks
We left after a few hours because the attitude of people was bad.
One female security guard was controlling and rude and unhelpful - she kept screaming at us for sitting on the floor outside ( not blocking anyone ) there were no seats at all.
Really wouldn't go there again awful sorry . Bad attitude from people and so so packed really not enjoyable at all

The bar staff were extremely inexperienced and slow serving. They either didn't know where drinks were or didn't know where it was on the iPad to ring it up. The price of the drinks was extortionate £5.50 for a 330ml can of San Miguel and £9.50 for a double vodka and lemonade is daylight robbery!
The toilets were disgusting the attendant wasn't keeping the area clean or safe by mopping the wet floor it was amassive hazard!

Artists were fantastic and so is security, unfortunately too many people at last nights event and too many of them had really bad attitudes. I’d be happy to pay a bit more and have it less rammed.

Music was pretty good, the rest wasn't so much.

Late being let in. My partner and I turned for 3, only to be let in gone 3.15.

Expensive drink, £14 for 2 drinks...

Door staff didn't have a clue what was going on (one of them even stated "I turn up at 2 and that's when I get paid" and just laughed when questioned about the event) plus they were just letting anyone into the "VIP" area half the night, overall pretty lazy in my opinion.

Toilets went from 'okay at best' to nasty very quickly.

VIP tickets were a complete rip off (£55 each - at the time of purchase I could've purchased a standard ticket for around £22). Faster entry, own area of the mezzanine and own bar... well, faster entry - we were there when only a few were there in the "standard" que so wasn't really an issue, plus late being let in so what was the point? Own area of the mezzanine, it was a small section with a barrier left across the entrance all night, the door staff wasn't really paying much attention to who was entering (saw plenty in there throughout the night with no wristband on), this also led to it becoming overcrowded at points and the view to the stage wasn't great either - it would've been better to have the "VIP" section infront of the other bar on the mezzanine with a better view. And as for the "VIP bar", this wasn't even a full bar like the other 3, no taps (that I could see) so even if I did want to pay £6.50 for a pint of Carlsberg then staff would have to get it from a different bar anyway). My partner and I actually spoke to a handful of other VIP ticket holders who all shared the same view that VIP was a joke, an afterthought to grab a bit more money.

I was massively let down.. heard the same 5 songs 6 times in 3 hours.. extremely repetitive.. didn't match the pricing. Left the venue disappointed was expecting more garage considering the name of the event. Most the music was lackluster and quite frankly boring. It was a glorified club night. Won't be returning.

Heard the same song like 6/7 times, we were told hats and bags can be kept in lockers/cloakroom then they said there was no bags or hats allowed inside yet other people had them. One artist was trying to sell a book for 30 minutes, it was mixed between clubbing, a stand up and a mini rave, was poor to the standards I was expecting. Wouldn't recommend as minimal garage was played.

Had an absolutely brilliant night! And I have recommended it to a few of my friends who couldn't attend this time. I felt safe on arrival at the venue. Really liked the fact that you have to give your ID and it gets scanned at the front door. Bouncers did a thorough bag check and patted my husband down, only thing I'd say about security is that perhaps the women bouncers should have patted the women down too. Atmosphere was a really good vibe, no moodiness and people very polite & respectful. The only other criticism I'd say is because of how packed it was, it made it slightly difficult to move from one area to another. I think perhaps reduce numbers slightly next time and it would be perfect. But had an absolutely bangin night, really enjoyed dancing my socks off, DJs were fab and would definitely come again. Thanks to all for organising, you did an amazing job 👍
