Review of Osees
Great band, great energy/show. Ok sound, annoying lightning. Lightningperson did not follow bands instructions fast enough, creating annoyance. Know the band, and act accordingly. All drinks in bar tasted s**t and was expensive. Loose the barriers.

Review of Osees
Centre stage are the 2 drummers , that’s the very first thing you notice about the Osees. With a groove and a determined look on their faces as they syncopate rhythms around each others beats. There’s the low-key but absolutely excellent bass player on the right staring intently at the drummers, not the audience. These three lay down the fabric upon everything else that follows. The singer /guitarist on the left leading the whole performance supported by a keyboard player at the back centre slightly above the drummers. The keyboardist sometimes doubles-up on guitar. There follows a wall of kaleidoscopic noise that saws and winds through many genres but nothing predictable. Funk numbers, psychedelic numbers, rock numbers all from their myriad of albums. The audience were the beatniks, the bohemians of all ages. 70 year olds wearing t-shirts of alternative bands of yesteryear and you could believe that they were there. All drinks served in cans, so easy to be served. Great atmosphere. Magical evening. As I walked away at the end of the night my recurring thought was they don’t look old enough to have that many albums. Go see the Osees you won’t regret it.
