Spice Up! 001 on Saturday 10th November 2018
Spice Up presents: 001
10/11/18 - 10pm - 4am // £5 advance, £7 OTD
Witness the launch party of Spice Up, an events & promotions label dedicated to bringing an unparalleled eclectic flavour. A night for the established & the up-and-comers, for the new heads & the old timers.
To kick things off we're taking over the intimate Suki10c with an awesome mix of DJs, both digital & vinyl, to present a deeper & darker night than seen before, in the heart of Birmingham's creative corner - Digbeth.
Expect roots, grooves & bassweight.
Selectors on the night -
Boogie Dave -
To get the ball rolling, Suki10c owner, established multi-genre producer and DJ Boogie Dave is dusting off his dubstep vinyls.
Padawan Sound -
Leeds based DJ Padawan Sound will be taking the energy down, with a flawless blend of tribal dub, chilled dubstep & future garage.
Prime is next to take to the decks. The head honcho of both Styx Recordings, Vault Studios & the Vault Sessions, he'll be supplying a mix of deep dubstep and upfront grime, powered by low frequencies & hefty drums.
Goosensei ft NATTY D -
Goosensei's energetic & bass heavy rhythms punctuated by Natty D's unique & sharp style make a combination that is not to be missed. Listen to them shelling down St Paul's carnival in Bristol earlier this year for an idea of what to expect -
Court Jester b2b Mr Tekiteezi -
Representing the heavier side of the sound, Court Jester & Mr Tekiteezi will be rounding off the night with 2 hours of absolute heat. It's gonna be large, so stick around for a party.
