World Clash: The End | The Crowning of the Legends on Sunday 1st May 2022
At long last the renowned WORLD CLASH presented by Reggae Girls Promotions and Irish and Chin Inc.,is going down on Bank Holiday 1st May 2022 at Birmingham’s O2 Academy. It's back and bigger than before, as this explosive event now features The Crowning of the Legends.
Yes! Double excitement is promised as history unfolds. Fans will now get the chance to see the sounds who popularised the World Clash brand with the vibrant performances and personalities being honoured in ceremonial style. Set to be crowned are sound system giants Bass Odyssey and Squingy (RIP), Panther, Tony Matterhorn, Ricky Trooper, Mighty Crown and David Rodigan.
The combination of Crowning of the Legends and World Clash:The End will yield a night of epic proportions. The globally renowned World Clash has set the blueprint and raised the bar for sound clash entertainment as we know it, heralded new sound system stars and propelled others to even greater heights.
The climatic finale to the acclaimed champion Mystic (Canada) competing against Stereo 5, Rodem Cyclone, Klymaxx and Observer Supa Power representing the USA, Japan, Canada and the UK (Rumble Series winners/ national champions) respectively.
Meanwhile, the night is set to get hotter as we host the long-awaited battle with the addition of wild card entrants Warrior Sound, Dynamq, Code Red and Empire Sound from Europe, USA, the Caribbean and the UK.
At Birmingham’s O2 Academy, fans will bid farewell to the industry’s premier sound clash, as some of the world’s most entertaining sound systems and selectors from across the world unleash their lyrical creativity, on stage dynamism and dub plate prowess, on their quest to win the final coveted World Clash title and trophy!
