M-Tech Robotics Club on Saturday 1st December 2018
M-Tech Robotics Club is a great way for kids to explore the field of Robotics and computer programming while enhancing their problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Through carefully crafted activities, students will get hands-on experience using Edison, the LEGO® compatible, programmable Bot!
Edison’s robotics capabilities can be unlocked with ease through simple barcode programs that can do everything from making music to “battling” in a Sumo Ring!
Students can then progress onto an icon-based programming language that is super easy to use and a great way to introduce students to programming concepts.
M-Tech Robotics Club is an engaging program for teaching students computational thinking and computer programming in a hands-on way, while improving their knowledge of core subjects like Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
This is a mixed beginner/intermediate class for ages 10 - 14.
We encourage students to bring their own laptops/tablets (iPad or Android) but this is optional.
