Much better venue and layout. Attendance seems to be still pretty poor overall. That needs to improve. More physical National Marketing (No posters or street team anywhere. On-line is not enough) is DEFINITELY required.

Only disappointment was that a few big names were missing the Inmusic brands.

MY 10th annual visit to BPM and each year it just gets better. Great to meet up with so many people I have met there over the years. Content of the show was outstanding, learning rooms & exhibitors. A must go to event for anyone in the industry. Looking forward to next year.

Not a huge fan of the new Genting Arena, and why on earth did the organisers put it on Sunday - Tuesday???
The layout was very weird, though I understand what they wanted to do but it did not work in my eyes. Also a lot of companies did not attend this year as it was more based on retailers than manufacturers. The bigger brands this year did not have big shows but meduim size displays..the Chaveut room was not as great as before, it was bigger but just not as good, example the Lighting rigs did not amuse me and before there was seats and bean bags to sit and chillax on..this year its all stand up and be bored for 1 hour of a dj set.
But on the upside I did see a few newer companies with some great displays. The retailers I think this year made it big, with lots of sales.
The food options was limited but new this year which is a good and a bad thing.
Overall it was not as good as years before.

Much better compared to previous years. The move to the Genting Arena compliments the event. Lots to do, great exhibitors and great artists as usual! Will be visiting again next year.

Getting in was a sham did not use Skiddle had to waste time filling in more forms. For the Mobile and DJ very little to see or do. Lots of Big named company's missing and with only Two days with Pro longer it seems like PLASA all over again.

This years show has seen a move from the NEC main halls to the Genting Arena, a location which is easy to get to but parking is an absolute rip-off at £12 and the walk is around 15 - 20minutes. On entering the arena although I had a ticket the entry was a shambles with others having to reregister and machines not printing badges. Also doesn't help when the girls on the counter just say it's not their problem! Not a good start to the day. I went with the intention of looking at lighting and that's what I did, but the lack of the major vendors at the show was disturbing and I see this as a failure. Even the Pro section was lacking and small compared to previous years. The seminars were in noisy areas, as DJ's we don't want loud music on our days off! The food and drink on offer was also extremely limited and overpriced. I will seriously reconsider about attending next year.

I'll start with the good...it's a great event and well worth attending, lots going on, lots of deals to be had and lots to gain however...getting in was a pain. Had a ticket but then had to register to gain access to the venue along with numerous other people which took time, didn't work properly and generally a poor start to the day. I just want to be able to show someone a ticket and walk in, not wait 10-15 mins to register to print off a pass to gain access. Signage was poor at the venue so had to explore which wasn't a bad thing but more signs would be better. I also stayed for the dance classics party but there was nowhere to get a drink or bite to eat and there wasn't much of a choice during the day either...that was disappointing as it's a long day with thousands attending, better food and drink offerings would be good...even if it was just pop up food stalls outside on the grass area, whack a stage up too and you've got a performance area.
Disappointed in no stands for Mastermix, Denon and Serato - guessing they opted not to attend but they were missed, perhaps fees charged to exhibitors need to be reviewed as some stands were tiny. Also need to support DJKit by giving them an extra outlet, 3 wasn't enough to cope with demand.
Overall it's a great event but lack of food and drink lets it down....I will be back but will bring food.

This review is for the Sunday's attendance.

For it being BPM Pro's 10th year it lacked the atmosphere and the vibe I experienced when I visited last year's BPM Pro event. Without a doubt the arena was bigger than last year but while booths were spread out allowing more space to walk vendors and manufacturers were very limited to their product range and I felt that the exhibitionist were disinterested. It also become apparent that organisers were more concerned about noise pollution than trying to make a good show.

I left feeling disappointed. I hope for a better BPM Pro next year.

Tiesto Tour: Kaleidoscope

Music was amazing. The Arena Hall itself was too big to create a brilliant atmosphere and the AC was very high so for the 1st couple of hours or so me and my friends were all cold rather than hot and sweaty!!! Outside the hall the LG Venue was brilliant, huge amounts of room, LOADS of bars and food outlets at reasonable prices. Plenty of concessions stayed open till 6am which was great. Atmosphere was a bit hit and miss. Plenty of people were so off their heads they were passing out before Tiesto even came on. Wheelchair pushers were certainly kept busy!!!!
Overall a brilliant night without being exceptional.
