The Sinfonia of Birmingham is one of the leading chamber orchestras in the West Midlands and has a busy schedule performing in key venues around the region, as well as accompanying local choral societies. In this concert, conductor Mike Seal (Associate Conductor of the CBSO) will guide players and audience alike on a transatlantic journey of delights – starting off with Copland’s ethereal masterpiece, taking in Wild’s joyful and witty Doo-Dah Variations, before a ravishing homecoming in Vaughan Williams’ London Symphony. Wild’s Doo-Dah Variations - also a UK premiere - will see the orchestra joined by pianist Ben Dawson, whose performances have received international acclaim.
