Excellent venue , excellent band and superb sound

Third time watching The The. Just superb.
Crowd not so
A great venue, almost heaven sent for a fantastic atmospheric band like the the to perform a comeback gig in. the sound system was top notch. the crowd was as you'd expect up for it after a 25 year wait, and the band delivered. what more can you ask for?
The bar prices were a bit high and the queue was really long.suggest a bigger bar or 2 are needed
Great music superb band really good new venue and happy welcoming staff.
Excellent venue perfect for a concert on hot summers evening, or any evening as long as its not raining and too cold
The The were amazing and the venue is wonderful the queue for the bar was ridiculous.
Great venue, but one bar is ridiculous!
Having strayed into the post industrial wastes (post apocalyptic wastes?) of Digbeth's underside before, I was a little apprehensive: the venue is basically "that" carpark that most folk were too scared to ever leave their cars in, with the crushed cars entry, squeezed in under the railway arches. And it's great. OK, a little work (a LOT of work) needs doing for the bar queues but, with good weather, it is wonderful. Helped that Matt Johnson's The The were phenomenal, abetted by an exemplary sound balance. Terrific, and Garbage tonight. Can't wait. (The nearness of Digbeth Dining Club and Clink did no small harm either: I commend popping into each.)
First time at venue, really impressed. The The brilliant as expected!
Brilliant evening, great atmosphere and Matt Johnson back sounding better than ever with his band. Played songs from most of his albums including all the classics. An important genius writer/ musician who’s songs scream out to be listened too.
As far as modern music venues go, Digbeth is not your usual sanitized corporate enormodome. Instead, you have an inner city industrial yard, set in between railway arches and units, with enough character to bring a smile to your face. It is not without its faults (the bar tent could have been bigger, the gents urinals were basic) but that is half the fun of a venue like this. Initially pleasantly surprised, I grew to like the place even more as the bands played and the atmosphere changed as the sun went down and you got glimpses out of the corner of your eye as the occasional train when past in silhouette. Nice to see this type of site used for more social, constructive purposes rather than being used for building more apartments.
Fantastic night with an incredible band and great crowd. Absolutely brilliant venue in which we loved everything about it: friendly staff; organisation; well resourced; fantastic food -delicious flashback to goats cheese pizza & veggie burrito! The lit arches as one passes into the arena itself were stunning, whilst the train/tram passing by during the gig, seemingly floating in the night sky, just added to the almost magical intensity of the industrial location and heritage.
Not been before great venue
Great gig, easy access
Top 5 concert. Outstanding performance from Matt and the guys with a full 2 hour set.
Location was good and sound levels incredible. A few streetfood stalls which were reasonable value for quality grub.
Highlight for me was I've been Waiting for Tomorrow (All of my Life)
Fantastic venue really fitting for Matt and the boys. The sound was spot on and I forgot just how good the lyrics were.
I'd love to see some other gigs there for sure. Desperate for two bars though lads must of dropped some takings as queue was mad. Well done all round.
Great venue. Warehouse-feel by the railway arches. Wonderful set by The The. Would thoroughly recommend.
Great venue. Only issue was queue for drinks but even that moved fairly quickly.
Great concert and atmospheric venue
What a great night, The The were fantastic, the venue was great, first time at Digbeth arena and luckily it was a dry warm night. I thought the ticket prices were a bit high, but what can you do about that? Venue staff were really friendly and helpful.
Poor food options and ridiculous queues at the bar.

Greatest band ever!
