Review of Godskitchen XXV
Absolute vibrating dildo of an event
Would you recommended: Yes
Headliners self indulging their egos. Not reading the crowd, to the point the crowd stopped dancing but the endless choice music still carried on. Either the DJs couldnât see the crowd because of the lights or they were being so arrogant to carry on playing their music.

Amazing night great venue and crowd
Merrick Lee Lacey
was bloody cold
First time at Crane, great venue really atmospheric, could have done with speakers at the back of main arena but other than that really good, older crowd in was good, toilets a bit of a trek but all in all good music and a good night ð
Paul O Brien
Need to sell bottles of wine
Cracking night all the DJâs were brilliant in their own way Iâd definitely go there again
Absolutely amazing from start to finish!
godskitchen how I missed you ATB
Gods needs a more intimate club
Brilliant. loved it
drink prices were ott $7 for two waters !!
Amazing atmosphere and music
First time at Crane, love the venue. Especially as there are many womenâs toilets. The lasers and sound system was incredible. My only criticism was it was freezing when we got on there. So cold I couldnât feel my fingers
Feeking great night! Danced my socks off - DJs were ace and the atmosphere was epic.
First time at Crane. Venue was ok - decent sound system, friendly staff but for me the owners need to put some more thought into the design. You can tell it’s been put together on a shoe string budget. One way system needs a rethink. Saw a few people nearly fall down the stairs. Yes it was colder than normal so get some heat lamps for the outside smoking /eating areas. People do like to chill out and give their ears a break.

Ready for the next one
That was awesome. Please do it again, but maybe not when it’s that cold!!
Amazing night! Music was fab! Cloak room got fully booked up so had to keep coat with me all night and the drinks were extortionate.
Very good nice, bar a bit expensive but no other complains. Security was nice, venue good, overall 8/10
The event was great could try adding speakers to the back of the room , but that’s not Godskitchen that’s the venue crane ……. But the bight itself awesome !!!!
Music was like a school disco. Second room wasn't hard as you would expect. Crowd looked miserable and didn't dance. Constant queueing. Worst rave in a long time. But the lasers were good and they must have made a fortune. I guess that's the uninspiring line up that sells tickets
The Crane Warehouse venue was very cold until later on in the event, the outside temperature has been very cold in the U.K the week prior to the event, some industrial heaters would have fixed this. The bar needed more staff as it was very slow although the staff were ok.
I would also liked to have had more voice of food especially for an event that starts at 4pm ans finished at 2am with an 8pm last entry time.
Awesome atmosphere, amazing people! Great venue but very cold until in the dancing in the crowd with your new found family. Definitely left wanting more
Great night, cold venue but when it's minus something outside you can't really expect anything else. Great event.
Loved it. Hope for a repeat in future.

Bars were really understaffed, Cloakroom was full by 7pm. Queue to get it wasn’t very well managed with a 2nd search and queue further in… pointless.
Production and audio were spot on though.
Very good venue light show and sound were incredible, drinks were in the pricey side , toilets need to be updated
Was super cold - could have done with some heaters in the smoking area
Amazing club, brilliant sound system and atmosphere! Reminded me of print works.
brilliant night out !!
Crane as a venue -The building was freezing the toilets aren’t fit for purpose, nowhere to sit and chill out for a while.
The music was awesome at GK and the lazer show rocked. Amazing atmosphere as always but they need to find a better venue.
Great to have GK back.
Awesome music, epic production and great venue. Welcome back Godskitchen. More please ❤️

Great night rejoining the past
Interesting venue, bit cold on the night but not too bad considering the size of place.
Industrial chic, shall we say! toilets .. well let’s call that adequate at best.
Sound was spot on! Laser awesome. Trance never dies !!
The venue really let this event down. Not enough females doing the checks at the beginning. Too cold in the venue due to a one way system. Cloakroom filled up by 7pm.
The biggest issue was the sound system, it was far too basey meaning the layers of music from DJs in the main room was lost. I left early because I was so disappointed..I will not he attending another event at Crane. Should another Godskitchen be held elsewhere I may consider it.
Totally awesome night.
Felt like I had come home
Top event with awesome music and atmosphere. Shame there was no room in the cloakroom from about 6.30pm and had to carry our coats all night!
Amazing to have godskitchen back was great event
Just a shame some of the Dj’s is the main room didn’t play original Godskitchen sets. So many more old tunes could have been played. Venue fab but the one way system out the smoking area was annoying. Tall Paul smashed it 🙌🏾 Micky Slim and Steve Lawler mint too!
It's great to see Godskitchen back! Great versatile of music for everyone.
What a night, great atmosphere with like minded people... Godskitchen you smashed it!!
Amazing night, needs to be made an annual event
Excellent venue, sound system and lighting. Had an awesome night and will definitely be back but when it’s a bit warmer!
Drinks where pricey but was an amazing evening.
Brilliant night out
Errrrr let's just say if the music's good which it was, then why did everyone need to have extra help to enjoy it??? Such a shame. I had no idea it was going to be old warehouse and not a proper club it was freezing and as a warehouse would be.....a hole. I managed 20 minutes before I left....what a mess!
Amazing night, great venue. Bit cold in the venue but warmed up as the night went on.
Queuing was too long and venue was very cold
Amazing event but freezing but that’s just the time of year!!! Maybe do one in May time not December!!
Good to see Godskitchen back in it’s home of Birmingham 👍🏻
Amazing night, venue was brilliant, music was outstanding and what a great atmosphere
Godskitchen, at Crane, what’s not to like?!
Fantastic evening, cracking DJs playing awesome music, a lot of dancing like a loon, spectacular laser/light displays, and not too much of a wait at the multiple bars despite it being so busy... IN.CRED.IBLE!!!
I’ve missed super club nights out for a long time and having GK return with this event reminded me just how much I loved them… and still do.
So much love out there for all the old ravers!!
Venue was a f**king car crash. How you think charging £40 notes and providing an outdoor porta potty set up at the end of a metal staircase with a one way system is acceptable is beyond me.
Great night, rammed to the rafters. Godskitchen doing what they do the best. Difficult to justify £6.50 for a can of beer and £5 to stick two coats on a hanger in a cloakroom but that’s the venue not the brand.
Amanda Hatch Hyde
Amazing night ! Travelled from Ireland ...loved the size of the venue but it was freezing
Godskitchen was amazing! The sound was quality.
One way system around the venue was a bit annoying due to the size of the venue. But overall, amazing.
Venue was freezing cold
Toilets were disgusting
Great atmosphere...amazing djs and everyone was so up for a great night! no queues for drinks or toilets either which was also great.
The best party ever😊
Gods kitchen was amazing music was amazing well worth the 2 hour journey 😎
Beer prices £7 for a can of red stripe
James Alistair Cameron
Couldn’t fault the place, great crowd, legendary DJs and the sound system was one of the loudest and clearest I have heard! Friendly security staff and a good time had by all. Will be back for sure. Brum’s warehouse project has been discovered!
All round amazing experience, well run - the best DJ’s ! Thanks GK xxx
Absolute belter of a night! Amazing atmosphere, people and music! The lasers were insane and made it very special! Toilets were a bit gross, especially as the evening went on. Also £6.50 for a can of beer is a bit of a shocker. Security and bar staff were lovely,. Can’t wait for the next one!
Toilets from Trainspotting
Music from Tall Paul, Judge Jules fantastic ruined by A poor set from Mauro Picotto and followed up by an equally poor set from Ferry. After soooo many years away Hods Kitchen this felt more of a money making exercise on your part. Disappointed Godskitchen fan.
Amazing reboot time machine back to the late 90s , very solid performances by some top names , venue has an amazing sound system and lasers . Could not fault this event we are all secretly hoping it continues.
Amazing!!! Just a little chilly if you go on a -1 chilly night.
Toilets needs improving.
Absolutely amazing night! Just the drinks were expensive. £25 for 2 vodka red bulls
Didn’t change how good the night was though x
Fantastic event from start to finish 👍
A cold room, many people in a state of drug intoxication. Didn't like the room.
Great venue it’s good to have the industrial feel again. The same round of drinks was never the same price. Great atmosphere and Godskitchen produced an amazing event. Hopefully the next one is in better weather as there is not enough cloak room space for 3k people and I’ve never been as cold in a club
Nice clubbing atmosphere, could be cheaper prices at the bar
Amazing day and night. Epic music. Just want to do it all over again!
Could do with some heating otherwise great.
Music was brilliant atmosphere was unreal lthe venue was ok but the mens toilets were down stairs out side and the womens were on the balcony of the second floor bar staff were all friendly enough even though it was at capacity it was still easy enough to wiggle up the floor to the stage all in all a great night and would definitely go again
Thank f**k Godskitchen is back, brilliant night, good crowd and banging venue. Can't wait for the next 1.
Do more House music events at this club
Music was a bit harder than I expected from mauro piccoto and ferry corsten.
Not so much pure trance more techno than trance but still a great night.
Couldn’t have been any better
Good club for a rave..although freezing cold in the middle of winter. The only place in 22 years where I’ve kept my coat on the whole time! Cloak room was a joke, tiny clock room, it was full up so it closed..just as well the club was cold so we needed to keep our coats on.
Bar prices were a complete and utter joke, each time we went to the bar to buy the same drinks the price varied!
Lighting and lasers and visuals were amazing! The djs very good, although I’d of liked a few more classics. Packed club with loads of friendly up for it clubbers. My friends and I really enjoyed it and we will be back.
GodsKitchen is back!!
Cracking atmosphere in a top venue!
What a fantastic night, the only down side was how cold it was but we can't help the weather can we, just ment we had to dance more.
Godskitchen has never let us down in the past and definitely didn't with this event.
Bring on the next meeting of the Godskitchen family x
Paid to go to the after club after main event only to find out it was being held in the second room and finding out most people in there had just stayed on form the main event without paying. Poor very poor. Drinks over priced.
Absolute banger of a night. Great venue, bit pricey, but the night made up for it
Great vibe with plenty of friendly ravers, good venue but main room could do with more speakers half way along the room.
Only bad thing was its freezing in there 🥶 never raved with my coat on before
Great music and atmosphere. The venue was amazing. We loved it. £6.50 a tin was a bit extreme though
Fantastic night and look forward to more GK events in 2023
Cold, music OK, venue not bad
Absolutely outstanding. Staff were great as were security. Safe environment… such a vibe. Godskitchen come back soon
Was amazing had the v best night for years. As came all the way from Aberdeen Scotland to Frankley services. Stayed from Friday as it took 12 hours from Aberdeen to Birmingham because of the roads/conditions. A hire car mde for city. As had a 4 peoples luggage for 3 days. But like I said heard some amazing mixes of classics. Godskitchen, crane your legends thanks as missed it as Aberdeen is crap. Moving to London. Wold recommend anyone else have a good night. I'll be back when's next event n where. Thanks
The venue was very cold even when full & I wore my coat most of night, first time that’s ever happened. The bar prices were extortionate & there was a large unnecessary queue outside which I feel was created to charge a £10 ‘fast entry fee’ per person. I understand they need to make money but it was a rip off which tainted the night a little. The music & atmosphere were excellent thank you, Tall Paul best of night & great crowd.
Lora Jane Mc Donnell
The best night I have had in a very long time. I flew over from Belfast for it and it was well worth it.
So good to see familiar DJs from my youth still going strong and as brilliant as ever.
Atmosphere was amazing, very well organised and after party was a great idea.
Couldn’t fault a single thing.
Lots of space, lots of toilets, lots of people enjoying themselves.
What a night!!!!!! When’s the next one pleeeeeaaaassssssse x
Tobias Florian Dieter Penner
Was very cold in there. Venue has no heating.
It was dirty.
Toilets were just moveable ones outside.
