Society Presents: Hypho & Fiend on Saturday 28th March 2020
Please note, this event has been postponed.
New date to be announced in due course.
For our second event this year, we're bringing two bass heavyweights to the midlands favourite venue, PST.
Hypho (Swamp 81 / Manuka)
Needing no introduction, Hypho is now one of the main faces of the Swamp 81 crew after an absolutely stellar release with them last year. Alongside this, he runs Manuka Records, a label based in Manchester, releasing anything and everything in the 130-140 spectrum. Having recently just got back from touring the US, we can't wait to see what he brings.
Fiend (Navy Cut)
Producer & DJ; Fiend, burst on to the dubstep scene in 2018 with his debut release on J.Sparrow’s Navy Cut label; NC007 Jah Hear Me/Missing Link. With lots of new music on the way this year, he’s certainly an artist to look out for.
Pluralist (Manuka / Circular Jaw)
Originally from Cheltenham, Pluralist is an up & coming Birmingham based DJ/Producer with a slew of productions under his belt already. With his releases on Manuka & Circular Jaw gaining support from heavy hitters such as Re:ni, Gilles Peterson & Emerald, he won't be one to miss.
Hailing from Norwich, Ku-Nai will be bringing a selection of deep and gritty sonics spanning many influences of dubstep and half-time. Expect an energetic hour of dance floor chaos.
One half of Skeng Party & originally from Stourbridge, Jamba specialises in all things deep and dark. Musically you can expect all things between 130/140 showcasing the rudest tunes in grime, dubstep and garage.
23 year old multi-genre DJ from Birmingham specialising in experimental dance. He'll be bringing some break oriented Jungle and Drumfunk flavours to the night.
Starting his DJ career regularly playing tekno 2 years ago, Techtile has since moved into the drum and bass realm, becoming a regular face in the Birmingham scene.
