ROM Presents: Addison Groove + Support on Friday 22nd October 2021

Addison Groove is, without a doubt, one of the most talented underground electronic artists that the UK has ever produced. Operating out of the hotbed of UK dance culture, Bristol, Addison’s influence and fanbase stretch far and wide. Whether it’s a collaboration on the legendary album Double Cup from the late DJ Rashad, his underground cult classic ‘Footcrab’, his releases on Youngsta’s seminal Dubstep label Tempa under his ‘Headhunter’ Alias, regularly teaming up with DnB pioneer DJ Die, or his award-winning lockdown livestreams. Addison Groove has done it all. Expect this 2 hour extended set to get sweaty.

On support duties we have a plethora of artists from local and afar:

W.N.T (Werdna B2B Nikki Tesla B2B Trieste)

  • We have the pleasure of hosting the debut of Birmingham’s premier bass trio. This newly founded group is built on a singular belief - the dancefloor is meant to be a fun place, nothing moody round here. Prepare for deep cuts and irresistible rhythms.

Nova Cheq B2B Maleekaveli B2B Billund

  • After meeting Nova Cheq at an event, we knew we had to get him down to Brum again, aside from being a right sound lad, he also happens to be one of the most interesting and talented artists to have gained popularity in recent years. Unsurprising really, given the Sherelle cosign and label release. Maleekaveli made the move from Brum to London a few years ago and has been on an absolute tear, playing sets at XOYO, alongside running his label Special Blends. Closing out the session is ROM co-founder Billund.

Lilith B2B Karakat

  • The Club Bandit duo have both been intent on bringing something fresh to the city with their eclectic but dancefloor-focused sounds. Providing a luscious blend of everything from downtempo, to club, to grime, to footwork, to jungle, to ghetto house, to baile funk - exactly what we like to see. With various radio residencies and sets in Birmingham and beyond, there’s no doubt that their fresh sound is welcomed with open arms.

Music Genres:
