Brackenbury / Bianco + Evans-Waite / Day / Gaze
Music Genres
Experimental
The duo of violinist Faith Brackenbury and drummer Tony Bianco has been moving from strength to strength since they first collaborated in 2020. They have now released two albums as a duo and two albums alongside tenor sax giant Paul Dunmall, first with John Pope and later with Olie Brice. It is always exciting to watch their musical relationship unfolding on stage and this promises to be no exception.
Felicity Evans-Waite has emerged as an exciting new instrumentalist on the Birmingham improvised music scene. She has performed regularly with the Birmingham Improvisers Orchestra but her huge sound and impressive technique on the baritone saxophone have made her an in-demand player across a range of genres. She will be joined by Sheffield-based Juliana Day on recorder and from closer to home, Jonno Gaze on the drums.
