Review of Puppy yoga Birmingham
Attended the puppy yoga session yesterday, which I was very excited for. I am a yogi outside of this, so I was looking forward to mixing it up and seeing what it would entail. The structure of the session was good (25mins yoga and the rest of the time playing with the puppies and taking photos - although I had seen some sessions on your insta account where the puppies are involved in the yoga?). The puppies were v cute, and that aspect of the session was v well coordinated; however, there did appear to be two types of people you are catering to: 1) those who are attending for the yoga AND to see the puppies; 2) those who are there just for the puppies. I was close to the back and I couldn’t really hear the yoga instructor, and this was worsened when people starting laughing and talking when the yoga got a little harder. I think more should’ve been done to ask people to be quiet as it was really off putting, but also it wasn’t fair on the teacher who is trying to teach - it might be good to split sessions into levels of yoga ability (depending on who you’re trying to market..)? I would happily return again at some point, but what I have outlined is a limitation for me not returning more regularly, as my focus was on the yoga AND puppies, not just the puppies and taking photos.
