Chocival 2018 on Friday 19th - Saturday 20th October 2018
Taking place in Central Square from 11am to 5pm on both days, the festival will be choc-a-block with stalls selling plenty of cocoa-based treats, as well as entertainment, live music and a special appearance from Willy Wonka himself.
While indulging in your favourite chocolatey treats, Brindleyplace’s charity partner, Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, will be hosting fun-filled activities to raise much-needed funds and awareness. On Friday, teams from businesses across the city are being invited to sign up for ‘It’s a Choc-Out,’ a game where teams of four will be hooked to an inflatable and tasked with battling to reach the middle first to collect tasty treats.
On Saturday, the Hospice is offering the chance to have a go in its Crystal Maze machine, where the aim of the game is to grab as many chocolate bar wrappers as possible to win a prize. Perfect for the whole family, this free-to-attend festival is bound to draw in the crowds.
