The Whistlin Donkeys
Hailing from County Tyrone, the Whistlin' Donkeys consists of 6 members, with Fergal McAloon on vocals, Tomas Quinn on banjo, Mickey Kerr on fiddle, Stevie Corrigan on guitar, Danny McCormack on bass and Oscar Bradley on drums.
The band have most recently toured Canada, USA, Europe and Dubai as well as filling venues across Ireland.
With their unique sound of Irish folk/Celtic rock you are sure to have a foot stamping, hand clapping night to remember!
Lauren McCrory
Lauren McCrory is returning to the country scene with her latest single ‘A Whole Lotta Little’ Originally written and recorded by Tennessee’s Emily Ann Roberts. Lauren who won TG4’S Glortire back in 2017 is coming back to the industry with a brand-new sound and attitude. The 25yr old who hails from Galbally in Co. Tyrone is delighted to be returning to the scene after taking a 5-year break.
Lauren was no stranger to the stage during her younger career having performed alongside the biggest names in the industry such as Nathan Carter, Derek Ryan, Lisa Mc Hugh and Philomena Begley. Lauren was involved in many events and award shows, including Hot Country TV Awards night and TG4’S Irish Post Country Music Awards where she also received an award for ‘BEST FEMALE NEWCOMER’.
At the ripe age of 13 Lauren preformed at Letterkenny’s Country Fest where she was given the opportunity to record her debut album. She later went on to win several country music competitions such as the 2015 ‘Sounds like country’ competition and TG4’S Glor tire back in 2017. From this she released her singles ‘Wrong night’, ‘Redneck Woman’ and ‘the Time has come’. Lauren is currently working on her forthcoming album which is due to be released in the early months of 2023.
Throughout the last 5 years Lauren has been touring Ireland/UK with the well-known Irish musical ‘Blood Upon The Rose’. Lauren plays the iconic role of Grace Gifford and has performed to sold out audiences in venues such as the Olympia theatre Dublin, Belfast Grand Opera house and London’s Eventium Apollo. The production plays Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on the 25th/26th of November with intentions of an American tour within the next few years.
Lauren is also a well-established wedding ceremony singer who travels all of Ireland to provide vocals for many happy couples. Most recently Lauren sang for her 2017 Glor tire mentor Barry Kirwan and was delighted to be a part of such a special day. Her diary for 2023 has reached full capacity with limited dates remaining for 2024 and already has enquiries for 2025.

Whole Lotta Little will be available to request on all radio stations from this Thursday and all social media platforms from Friday. In the next few weeks Lauren will be filming a music video which will be available on all Country Music Stations come the new year. Tiernán Heffron, is a 23 singer songwriter from County Antrim, Northern Ireland who was discovered by Taylor Swift during a local pub gig in Belfast on a Friday night in September 2021. Taylor stayed for his 3 hour + set singing and dancing along to Tiernán. Taylor was that impressed with his skill and talent asking Tiernán for a selfie and giving Tiernán a generous tip from her own pocket. Tiernán has had a many of opportunities since. One of them being In March 2022, he was asked live on air on capitol breakfast with Roman Kemp, Sonny and Sian if he would support Brit nominee and Number one Album artist Tom Grennan by Tom himself in Tom's sold out Irish shows in Dublin the 3Olympia and Belfast's Ulster Hall during his tour. Tiernán uses his unique voice to create relatable and unique sings with acoustic/folk and pop influence with new releases and interest from some of the biggest names in musicians in the music industry, Tiernán is definitely worth a listen with very bright and exciting career ahead of him.
