Atsushi spent much of his Japanese youth playing in Tokyo nightclubs just as the hip hop scene was emerging there. He later moved to Paris where he enjoyed the diverse mix of cultures often found in areas such as Belleville and Pigalle. He collected many of his vinyl treasures whilst living there for fifteen years. In Paris he formed a partnership with his friend Thomas and together they created French Attack, a French crate digging culture website, which went on to inspire artists such as Tyler the Creator amongst others. He also supported Peanut Butter Wolf and Egon from Stonesthrow label (US), as well as the French jazz funk band, Cortex (sampled by Madlib, etc). This melting pot of influences makes for a very eclectic taste, which he brings to you from all across the world.
Come along for a dance and all the joie de vivre you can muster...
