India Dalai Lama Trek 2020 for RUH patients on Wednesday 2nd October 2019
Beginning in Dharamsala (the heart of the Tibetan community), you’ll trek through the beautiful Indian Himalayas, rhododendron forests and high up in alpine meadows surrounded by snow-capped peaks, passing through traditional Hindu settlements, temples and Buddhist Monasteries. You’ll also have the chance to visit the Taj Mahal…and all in the knowledge that every step you take will support patients and their families back home. Plus, new for this year, the group will spend a day volunteering at a school along the route, an amazing opportunity to give back to the local community.
The charity is hosting an Information Evening at the RUH on Wednesday 2nd October from 6:30-8pm. This will feature an evening of presentations about fundraising and the trek itself, including a Q&A session with a Global Adventure Challenges trek leader, as well as a chance to hear about previous trekkers’ experiences. To find out more and book your space.
Minimum age: 18
Entry price (public): Sponsorship or self-funding (Additional fees may apply)
