Nick Harper in a word "Awesom"! if you havent, seen him you really should and if you have already, you most certainly will again. UK'smost under rated talent. song writing guitarwork and vocals all world class.

Hi , Nick Harper is probably the very best musician on the planet. First time we,ve been to this venue. Lets face it they could do a lot to improve the facilities for everyones comfort. Good atmosphere though, but thats down to the artist and the punters.

A great evening in a very intimate venue,in a room above the bar in the St James Wine Vaults Bath,a friendly audience luckily as it was a bit cramped,very much like a gig in somebody's front room.
Support act Harry Miller of the Harry Miller Band held the audience's attention with a selection of his songs with both good playing of his guitar & lovely singing voice and warmed up (literally) the room for the main act.
The always impressive,very entertaining Nick Harper,with folk/rock running in his veins thanks to his father Roy.I once described Nick (actually to Nick after an early in his career gig in the Speilgeltent on the 'rec' in Bath) as being like Roy,but funnier,but I think that Nick's guitar playing is better than Roy's but both certainly know how to write a 'protest' song with real feeling and always sharp edged.
Nick came on to very warm applause & knew he was amongst friends,chatting with ease as he prepared to deliver his set.
Prior to his appearance via his FB page Nick had asked for requests for songs for him to play,the selection he played was very varied between each song he chatted & joked with us all in his usual affable way which is, along with his music why we love him.
The applause after each song was enthusiastic as was to be expected from what was effectively a room full of friends,such is the nature of a Nick Harper gig.
I had sent my own list of songs I wanted to hear and was delighted that many got played amongst them 'Evo', 'There Is Magic In This World',Building Our Own Temple', A Hundred Things' & others.
At the end the room was a sauna of joy and exultation,we were all on a Nick Harper high,we could've gone on all night,but the time had come,we just have to live with this lovely memory until the next appearance of Nick whether with a band or solo.
Here's to you Nick,thanks for another great evening in your company.

Loved every minute last night from the very talented 'Harry' look forward to hearing more about him. Nick Harper was as always incredible, loved the new very haunting song 'Breathe' found myself welling up to that one...it just came from nowhere! I will recommend your venue for 'cosy personal atmosphere'...loved it.

I've followed Thought Forms progress for 15 years. It was a no-brainer to get to Bath to see them perform. It was a bonus to be introduced to three new bands, all of whom did what was necessary in an Independent Music Venue - they pushed the boundaries, and proved that Music Matters.

John was on top form with stories from the road, background information to his songs and a fantastic set list spanning I Am Kloot’s career.
It was great to hear a selection of songs from John’s new solo album as well.

The perfect Bath venue for the intimacy of a John Bramwell gig. Excellent sound and plenty of warmth for John’s ever engaging repertoire. Wit, observation and those marvellous lyrics all laid bare and embraced by the attentive audience. Songs from the new album were interspersed with favourites requested by the crowd, with only a few refusals. No one does mischievous melancholy with such a big heart as Mr Bramwell. A rare treat.
