The Futurist Cinema - Elf on Friday 14th December 2018

What are we showing I hear you ask? Well, it will be the Christmas classic... ELF! You may have seen the film but not like this, as we will have our very own Elf(secar) training school with real Elves, grumpy and nice. Milton Hall Elsecar will be transformed into the perfect Christmas pop up cinema and we will be showing the very first ever Christmas film from over 100 years ago as an extra treat.

So grab a large hot chocolate, mulled wine and some festive treats and discover why nothing beats a creative community shared cinema experience.

Feel free to wear your best and worst Christmas jumpers and book early as we have limited spaces.

Elf is a 2003 American Christmas fantasy comedy film, directed by Jon Favreau and written by David Berenbaum. It stars Will Ferrell, James Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Mary Steenburgen, Daniel Tay, Ed Asner, and Bob Newhart. The story is about one of Santa's elves (Ferrell) who learns he is actually a human and goes to New York City to meet his biological father (Caan), spreading Christmas cheer in a world of cynics.
