Fairport's Cropredy Convention on Thursday 8th - Saturday 10th August 2019
Celebrating its fortieth anniversary (1979-2019), Fairport's Cropredy Convention will be staged on Thursday 8, Friday 9, and Saturday 10 August 2019.
Headliners at this three-day open-air festival of rock, pop and folk include host band Fairport Convention, The Waterboys, and Richard Thompson. Other acts include Martin Simpson, Seth Lakeman, Caravan, Martin Barre, Zal Cleminson’s Sindogs, Daphne’s Flight, Richard Digance, Will Pound & Eddy Jay, Wildwood Kin, Lil Jim and Tide Lines.
Famous as a family (and dog) friendly event, Cropredy attracts a multi-generational crowd of up to 20,000.
Cropredy is near Banbury in Oxfordshire; three miles from Junction 11 M40 and four miles from Banbury railway station.
