Review of Watchfires / Paper Rifles / Ghost Writer
Great stuff from the marvellous Paper Rifles, high energy set from Ghost Writer and amazing stuff from Watchfires. My first visit to the Underdog venue - beer of the Brewdog variety slipped down nicely; adequate bar-staff on duty to ensure that punters were kept well hydrated.

Review of Rootdown Presents DJ Format
Format's selection of beats were fantastic, as always. It was a nice open venue that had plenty of space to move around and dance if you wanted to, not too much clutter with table and chairs etc. Booze was a little pricey but it's Brewdog, so that is to be expected. Overall it was a great night but I think there could have been some better advertisement for the event, I only heard of it randomly through a friend and would have missed it otherwise. It might explain why it was quieter than it should have been for a Saturday.

Review of Wildly Unprepared presents...The Dog\'s Bollocks
yes, I know some of them personally - so take what I say with a grain of salt if you think I'm incapable of being honest. But the reason I know them to start with is that I think this is a great collection of upcoming comedy talent, and that we'll be seeing more of them in the future. Oh, and I love the venue too (it's BrewDog's Underdog venue - and yes, I have some shares. Me, and 30,000 other people). If it helps, don't take my word for it - the audience numbers are growing and the audience participation sees lots of enthusiastic responses from the crowd. Cheap beer - no. Excellent, wide variety of craft beer - definitely.

Review of CATHOLIC ACTION + Support
Disappointing. I had high hopes but didn't enjoy the gig. The music sounded much like many other bands, I didn't think the singer could sing, and the repetitive feedback was startlingly annoying. I enjoyed the support band more.

Review of Aberboomtique\'s 1st Birthday Bash
Had a fantastic evening, The Purple Felts were fantastic. What a band, very tight, great musicians, had the place rocking. Hope you get them back. For another gig soon.
