Will you conquer the course to help cure type 1 diabetes?

Anyone aged 5+ can take on our thrilling new One Fun Run – obliterating obstacles, dodging mud and getting covered in colour! This event features a number of obstacles for all ages to conquer, all while raising money to support type 1 diabetes research.

So why not spray paint your hair to get in the mood, or bring a picnic and make a day of it!

Want a more relaxing challenge? Sign up for our famous One Walk taking place at the same location and enjoy a spectacular 5k walk, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and you can watch those taking part in the One Fun Run alongside you!

Please note, children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. There must be at least one adult per five children under 10.

What the day includes:

  • A fun new challenge
  • Getting messy with colour
  • A medal for finishing
  • Use of the fun activities at Lochter including Segways, Archery, Bait Fishing, Water Rollers and more!

How to register

Select a One Fun Run wave depending on how fast you want to go.

Register online and pay £5 per child and £10 per adult

Sponsorship target: £100

If you do not register you may turn up on the day, but please note there will be an entry fee of £20 per adult and £10 per child.

FAQs

Are there any age restrictions?

Children must be over the age of 5 to take part in the One Fun Run. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. There must be at least one adult per five children under 10.

I don’t want to take part in the obstacles, is the One Walk still available?

Yes, our famous One Walk is still available, and will be taking place just before the One Fun Run. Walkers will set off at 11am, and will follow a 5k route around the grounds of Lochter Activity Centre.

There is no age limit for the One Walk, and most of the route is suitable for buggies and pushchairs.

It sounds pretty messy…

Yup- the One Fun Run involves lots of muddy, wet, colourful fun! Please bring a change of clothing/shoes. There will be changing tents available.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is parking available at Lochter Activity, but please consider car sharing where possible.

Can I bring my dog to the event?

Yes! Furry friends are more than welcome, as long as they are on a lead and you are able to clean up any mess. They will not be allowed on the obstacles.

I would just like to watch the events, is that OK?

Yes! Please do come along and cheer on our One Fun Runners and One Walkers!
