Cultivate 2020 on Saturday 3rd October 2020
With the rapid development of the COVID-19 health crisis around the country and in line with advice and guidelines from the Scottish government; Cultivate will be rescheduled to the 3rd of October this year.
The Cultivate team are heartbroken that we will not be able to come together in May to enjoy some of the best electronic acts the north east has ever seen. However, rescheduling is the only course of action that we can take to help protect our community and ensure that we can host an event of the calibre and standard that we at Cultivate demand.
Due to the date change, Helena Hauff & Optimo will not be able to make it however we have already secured two replacements which we can’t wait to announce!
Tickets purchased for the May 9th event will be automatically carried forward to the new date. If you have booked travel and accommodation already, please get in contact with the provider as the majority are offering vouchers or reschedules at this time.
In this difficult time for the events industry, we ask that you support ourselves and the music scene in Aberdeen by carrying forward your event tickets to the rescheduled dates. We are confident all the festivals, clubs and bars can bounce back from this with the continued support of all of you lot, thanks for everything so far and we'll keep you updated over the months leading up to the festival.
In the meantime stay safe, wash yer hands and look after each other.
Cultivate returns to the boardwalk by the beach for it’s second full day
and night festival event since launching in March 2018. The event will take place on Saturday the 9 th of
May and will play host to an exciting lineup of international and local electronic acts.
The festival event space will consist of three music stages with pop-up food stalls and bars spread
throughout the arena. The ‘Arcade Stage’ is the largest space and will play host to the international acts
with the ‘Pano Bar’ stage and outdoor terrace stage hosting a mix of local and international acts with
stunning views across the beach and North Sea. This event is expected to sell out quickly due to
the high calibre of acts being offered and the current popularity of electronic music in the North
The Cultivate Organisers say: 'The launch of Cultivate in 2018 was a resounding success. We are
excited to now be able to bring it back to its original venue after two years with a lineup, production
value and arena that is bigger and better than ever before.'
Tickets will be available for purchase this Friday (7 th ) at 10am from Skiddle.
Music Genres: Disco, House, Techno
