Venus is a brand new night of live stand up comedy featuring some of the funniest acts on the circuit and will be monthly after its launch this Saturday!

Nicole Harris
Winner of New Jewish Comedian of the Year in 2016/2017, Nicole's style has been likened to a female Russell Brand...but with better hair! Nicole will take you through her life with extreme wit and you never quite know what you will get until it happens!"

Sikisa 'Twix' Bostwick-Barnes
BBC New Comedy Award Finalist 2017

Part of the Soho Theatre Young Company

From South London, Barbadian citizen Sikisa stormed this year’s BBC New Comedy Award competition with her authentic, fearless and vivacious personality and on-stage presence.

Since then, she has filmed for Comedy Central and is currently working on a new gossip podcast for 2018. She was also featured in sketches for this year’s Comic Relief.

Outside of TV and radio, Sikisa is quickly becoming a hot favourite on the UK comedy circuit, regularly performing and hosting at nights such as Angel Comedy Club, Top Secret Comedy Club and The Boat Show.

Victoria Brugger

Victoria is a Uruguayan comedian and actress, where she was mostly known for singing Jazz before she moved to London last year and started writing comedy in English.

Emily Ferrier
A Canuck living abroad, Emily is really putting her degrees to good use. Odd jobs and open mics. But mostly bojack horseman reruns.

Cressida Wetton
BBC New Comedy Award heat runner-up Cressida Wetton has appeared on BBC Radio 4 Extra and numerous shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. Cressida is from the West Country, but lives in London where she regularly performs at some of the city’s top clubs. She's wowed audiences all over the UK with her unique slant on small town mentality. Her hilarious observations of family life, and the characters she met in her previous office job, will seduce any audience with intelligence and wit.

"Really good writing and natural stage presence that people like" - Barry Ferns, Angel Comedy.

"Cressida Wetton is original, charming, and very funny!" - Dave Thompson.

Louise Bastock
Louise ‘the boss’ Bastock has been in the comedy game since May 2017, making waves and stealing hearts. She ditched theatre and improv for the far more self-indulgent pursuit of stand up, but redeems herself with her podcast Heroine Addicts celebrating awesome women, putting their stories centre stage

Yumna Mohamed
Originally from Johannesburg, Yumna is a self-loathing, cat-loving Muslim who was a So You Think You're Funny finalist in 2015, a BBC New Comedian finalist in 2017 and, most importantly, was once boo'ed off stage at the Apollo Theater in New York City.
