The SGI is a global organisation committed to world peace and the abolition of nuclear weapons through peaceful means and this talk will show how you, as an individual, can help to make this happen. Since 1983, Daisaku Ikeda - President of the Soka Gakkai International (Society for Value Creation) has authored an annual Peace Proposal, These proposals offer analysis of the issues facing humanity, suggesting solutions and responses grounded in Ikeda’s Buddhist philosophy. Robert Harrap is a former Barrister and now General Director of SGI-UK, and has offered a Buddhist perspective on the BBC Radio Two Pause for Thought on the Vanessa Feltz show.
