About Us
We could call ourselves an Adventure Farm, a Visitor Farm, or a Petting Farm, but really we’re happy just being Wellybobs!
But, what IS Wellybobs?
• Whatever you want to make of it
We’re not trying to give you a Thrill-seekers day out, or provide an authentic ‘Olde-worlde’ Farm Experience (milk maid outfits are in short supply), our aim is simply to provide a fun and relaxing family day out.
Meet the animals, enjoy a country walk, play and climb, or just relax, your day really is what you make of it.
• Value for Money
We think our ticket prices are already great value, but we’ve often got great offers on for family tickets and season passes to help keep the cost even lower for you all.
We’ve plenty of paid activities like Pony Rides and Mini-golf, but there’ll be no pressure from us for you to try them. You can just come along and meet our many friendly animals (have a cuddle or two), try out our play areas, have a wander around our fields, stop as long as you like (well, until we close) and you’ll have a wallet-friendly day out.
We’d love you to have something to eat in our Cafe, but if you want to bring a picnic and find a space somewhere, you are more than welcome to do so (but don’t blame us if you eat too close to the animals and get your lunch eaten.)
• A place to be as Busy (or not) as you want
Have a click around this site to see the various animals in residence and the activities going on. By the time the kids have visited Cuddle Corner, ridden a Pony, joined you on a Safari Ride, tried the Racing Cars, used the Slides & Climbing Frames and well, you get the idea, you will wonder where the day has gone.
But if you would rather sit outside and watch the world go by, listening to the sound of the farm, we can highly recommend that too.
(Some of our activities are weekends only, or weather dependant, but we’ll do our best to keep as much running as we can!)
• All Weather Fun
At Wellybobs we know it’s not always sunny and as much as we love splashing around in our wellies, we know that isn’t for everyone!
Our Animal Barn (including Cuddle Corner) is under-cover, and our Bouncy Play Area is fun no matter how hard the rain comes down.
• Not just for Summer
Our Halloween Parties and Bonfire Night are always popular and fun, watch out for us advertising them on this site.
Santa (when his schedule allows) and his Reindeer are around during December adding Festive Cheer.
We even host the occasional Ladies Night (for a totally different type of Animal Behaviour…!)
