Refund Protection - Coronavirus guidance:

The information outlined below explains how coronavirus claims are handled for tickets which were purchased on or after the 8th January 2021. For tickets purchased prior to this date please refer to the refund protection full terms and conditions. All the information outlined below is based on the refund protection terms and conditions and does not change them in any way.

The refund protection provides cover for illness and death caused by Coronavirus and these refunds are handled as follows:

Illness caused by Coronavirus

As per Government guidance if you have Coronavirus symptoms you should immediately get tested - the results of this test will determine how your claim will be settled:

Positive Test

If you or a member of your booking party test positive for coronavirus then your refund will be paid as long as the required self isolation period covers the date of the event. You will be required to evidence this positive test result for your refund to be paid.

Negative Test

If you or a member of your booking party test negative for coronavirus you would be ineligible to claim a refund for illness caused by Coronavirus.

Required self isolation

If a member of your immediate family tests positive and you are required to self isolate then your refund will be paid as long as the required self isolation period covers the date of the event. You will be required to evidence this positive test result for your refund to be paid. Unfortunately, we cannot provide cover for self isolation requested by the government's Track & Trace system or if you need to self isolate for any other reason.

Death caused by Coronavirus

Deaths caused by Coronavirus refund claims will be paid in the same manner as all death claims.

Travel Bans

Travel bans caused by coronavirus are not covered and as a result we are unable to issue a refund should a travel ban mean that you are unable to attend an event.
