dancing divaz vs pianoman

DANCING DIVAZ: What was the first record you ever bought?
PIANOMAN: Enola Gay - OMD

DANCING DIVAZ: If you didn't do music, what would you like to have become?
PIANOMAN: A criminal law solicitor!

DANCING DIVAZ: Your favourite ever production?
PIANOMAN: Of my own, it is "That Whitney Tune" (From PCP 2) and of another artist, it's "Chime" by Orbital.

DANCING DIVAZ: What's your guilty pleasure?
PIANOMAN: I love watching films and average about two every day of the week!

DANCING DIVAZ: When "Blurred" hit the charts back in the day, describe what it was like!
PIANOMAN: I was very surprised. I got a call from Jon Barlow at 3 Beat Records congratulating me for entering at number 6 in the charts and at the time, I was sharing a coffee with Martin (who you see on Top Of The Pops with me!). After the call I turned to Martin and said "We had better but more sugar in this, lad!". We had been gigging for two years prior to the chart release and some were amazing with the best always being in Liverpool. I also noticed I had a lot of new friends! LOL!

DANCING DIVAZ: PCP or Pianoman? Which was your favourite pseudonym to produce user back then and why?
PIANOMAN: Probably PCP. Because under that name I would just take a few vocal samples and build a whole track around it. By the time I did "Blurred", I had in a way burnt out and become lazy. I was just sampling other tunes in tracks because it was easy and the hype around the PCP/Pianoman name meant they would sell. This is the reason I like only a few of the tracks I did which are basically the ones I did when I started producing!
