tensile reaches its 1st birthday

tensile has reached its 1st birthday and on the 20th of April and have invited Spanish label Subsist to Leeds to celebrate what is shaping up to be quite a party!

Date published: 27th Feb 2018

tensile opened its doors just last year with an open armed invitation in the shape of a free party based in the legendary Beaverworks warehouse, Leeds. Now a year on and after a raft of quality artists and DJ's such as Neil Landstrumm / Makaton / Adriana Lopez / Casual Violence / Bleaching agent / Sam Watson / Nick Dunton / Pär Grindvik / KERRIE / Means&3rd / Ben Woollard / Sputnik / Malibuken / Sabes / Mark Turner are to name but a few!

tensile is no average club night, not only musically but venue wise, Beaverworks has been hailed by many to be one of the best venues in the UK for electronic music and art alike and the tensile emphasis is always on bringing inclusive techno & electronic music to all warps of life living in Leeds.

heading over for the party will be spanish label, Subsist. Subsist is a label dedicated to delivering cutting edge underground electronic/techno music to the world stage and we are over the moon to have head honcho FON as well as Barcelona based artist Error Etica flying over to rendezvous with the likes of Voidloss, Sabes, Joel Sutcliffe, Siege, Notwerker, Tom Long and Mr Willis who collectively will be showcasing what we feel tensile is all about.

Each Subsist EP or album showcase's a selection of tracks in all shapes and forms from talented electronic music producers across the globe.

So here's to another year of forward thinking, inclusive and cultural clubbing in Leeds and beyond.
