The Zoo Project Festival have started the ball rolling with the details about their line up with over 60 DJs and live acts revealed. The festival will feature eye popping DJ sets from a selection of superstars of dance including Groove Armada, Steve Lawler, James Zabiela, Shy FX and Mr Scruff.

There will also be live performances from Ten Walls, Benjamin Damage and legendary acid house pioneer A Guy Called Gerald (watch the video to his classic 'Voodoo Ray' above and imagine how amazing that will sound in the summer), whilst fans of the classic underground house and techno sound with which the Zoo became renowned are catered for with Craig Richards, Adam Shelton and Secretsundaze founders Giles Smith and James Priestley, among others.

There's  a healthy sprinkling of the murky world where bass music and techno collide, with Ben UFO playing back to back with Midland, Paul Woolford's alter ego Special Request and the cinematic two step grooves of Phalaeh. Overall it's selection of some of the finest selectors operating on the modern axis of rave, with more names guaranteed to be added before the event takes place.

That will be from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September in Donington Park, with the festival having quickly become one of the joys of the circuit, receiving plaudits from the press and ravers alike (check last year's highlight reel above to give you a falvour of what goes down).
