Marea Stamper aka The Black Madonna has developed a bit of a cult following over the past year or so. Tirelessly championing equality and damn good dance music, she has reignited a spirit on the dancefloor, and where she plays anyone who wants to rave is welcome as she provides the ultimate soundtrack.
Hailing from Chicago, she earned her stripes at a resident for the city's Smart Bar alongside Derrick Carter and Frankie Knuckles and wowed with fluent and dynamic DJ sets, something which is just as prominent now when Stamper plays headline gigs, or when she appears on the same line ups as friends like Heidi and Mike Servito.
The Black Madonna makes her Liverpool debut for ENRG on Friday 22nd October at the newly opened Invisible Wind Factory, which has been developed by the same creative team behind the recently closed Kazimier. It's a suitably fantastic space for an artist whose arrival has been so hotly anticipated.
All you have to do to get your hands on four tickets to see her is like the above image and then follow the Skiddle Instagram account if you don't already. The winner will be announced on Wednesday 19th October. Good luck!
