Macmillan's very own music festival, the Brick Lane Takeover is set to take over seven venues around East London's Brick Lane on Thursday 17th June offering seven hours of brilliant music from some of the best indie, electro, folk and punk rock bands around. The final line-up has been confirmed and will feature some awesome bands including Eliza Doolittle, Kill it Kid, Erland and the Carnival, Goldheart Assembly, Three Trapped Tigers, Tubelord, DJ Format, Midfield General, Little Comets and many, many more.
Aside from the rocking music, there will be plenty of other activities happening on the night and during the afternoon. Gals, if you head to Spitalfields Market, the lovely people at Benefit Cosmetics will give you a makeover – for free! And guys, you can enjoy a hog roast from restaurant Canteen while you wait!
If you and your friends like live music, pub-crawls and doing your thing for charity, then this is the event for you. All proceeds raised from Macmillan’s Brick Lane Takeover will go towards improving the lives of people affected by cancer. Giving has never felt - or sounded - so good.
