This Friday 22nd March sees Recentes welcome a DJ set from the stadium-sized rockers Pendulum. There hasn’t been a bigger act in drum and bass this century than the Australian producers, with huge speaker-shredding records such as ‘Slam’ and ‘Tarantula’ translating into arena anthems as the group became as big a draw as the likes of the Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Joining them on the evening will be a swaggering tour de force of bass music luminaries, including their long loved vocal sparring partner Verse, Zane Lowe favourites Monsta and the bolshy fiend Culprate.
A day later on Saturday 23rd March Fiesta will be bringing in a carnival of an altogether different proposition with house and techno beats dreamily coming to the forefront. The second wave producer Chez Damier will be headlining, the Detroit starlet behind KMS records. He’ll be joined by BrEaCh - the underground house and techno alter ego for Ben Westbeech - and the alternative club identity for Dutch house guru Gerd in NY Stomp. Sheffield’s great teenage hope Squarehead also makes his Sankeys debut, with Jozef K and Us & Them finalising the rather splendid bill.
We have a pair of tickets to give away to each night. To be in with a chance of winning, just fill in your details below and tell us whether you'd like tickets for Friday or Saturday.
