Just one more month to go before the UK’s largest celebration of Japanese culture arrives in Manchester. Hyper Japan will take place from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November 2025 at Manchester Central Convention Complex, and promises a packed weekend of authentic food and drink, live performances, anime attractions, workshops, and more.

The convention will comprise a vibrant marketplace filled with a wide range of Japanese-inspired creations and products, street food stalls cooking up yakitori and takoyaki right before your eyes, sake-tasting attractions, a main stage crammed with high-energy performances, and workshops showcasing traditional Japanese culture. With tickets available on their website, the event brings everything about Japan under one roof.
Hyper Japan has been a fan-favourite in London since its debut in the capital in 2010, so if you have a knack for anime and sake, this one’s a no brainer.
