The mysterious and illusive producer of many a dance floor banger plays MCR

Date published: 14th Nov 2017

On December the 7th Notre Dance present Tommy Vicari Jnr [Robsoul / Cabinet] at Hidden (The Den). Regularly described as one of the hidden jewels in the industry Tommy has been releasing music since 2001 under the alias's Tommy Vicari Jnr, 76-79, Tomski, Iraciv, V.I.C.A.R.I , General Vex and Vibration White Finger.

Moving between Deep House to Techno and everything in between. Tommy's unique sound has been consistently championed by the worlds top DJ's with his tracks regularly featuring in sets from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Zip and a:rpia:r soundsystem. His blinding releases over the years on labels such as 320KB, AMMO84, Robsoul Recordings, Discours and Counterculture Records are so highly regarded that they're consistently classed as gold dust to DJ's and vinyl collectors. During the summer of 2017 his recently released track 'Moy Lally In D' became a staple in most DJ's sets, with Sonja Moonear famously releasing it on the dance floor at Houghton/Sunwaves Festival.

However despite producing hit after hit, Tommy's presence behind the decks has remained minimal and understated. Unlike most DJ's he doesn't tour regularly, or even own a Facebook page. This lack of online presence has resulted in Tommy being one of the best kept secrets in the industry.

Notre Dance have decided to limit the capacity to 300 people and confine the venue to Hidden's illustrious "Den". Meaning though tickets will sell out, everyone will have space to dance and enjoy Tommy's sound.

Tommy's discography does the talking for him. In a saturated club scene, the light needs to shine on those who have truly earned it. To add to whats already shaping up to be a surreal evening, Tommy has promised to spin a few unreleased tracks exclusively for Notre Dance throughout the night.
