Tinlicker announce new album ‘Dreams of the Machine’, share new single

Arriving on 27th February, the trio gives us another taste of what’s to come with new single ‘Release’.

Date published: 23rd Jan 2026

Tinlicker has announced their new album, Dreams of the Machine, will be released on 27th February, via Remember The Future/[PIAS] Électronique.

The 14-track album marks the Dutch trio's move to entirely live performances.

Staying true to their long-held commitment to melodic, organic use of live instruments, soulful vocals and lyrics, emotional guitar and orchestral strands, alongside use of technology and production, Tinlicker’s forthcoming album will confront AI in electronic music and our daily lives.

Ahead of the album’s release, Tinlicker released the fourth teaser of the project in the form of the single ‘Release’, which joins the previously released singles 'I Want My Freedom', 'God In You', and 'Reborn'.

About the single, Tinlicker said: “At its heart, ‘Release’ is about how easily we slip out of the moment without noticing. The habit of checking, fixing, and responding instantly on our phones, and how that slowly takes over our attention to each other.

“We're not anti-technology, perhaps just quietly aware of what disappears when distraction becomes automatic. ‘Release’ is about pausing and staying in the moment with the people around you.”

Following the album’s release, Tinlicker will embark on a UK/EU tour, starting in March.
