The Warehouse Project has shared details about “changes to the venue and customer experiences”, including a no-phones policy for Concourse-only events.
The Manchester clubbing institution has announced some changes, including a ban on filming and taking photos at events that are held only in the Concourse, which are Annie Mac: Before Midnight, ANOTR, DJ HEARTSTRING, D.O.D, &ME - Keinemusik, and Rossi.
In a press release, The Warehouse Project said, “As part of a growing movement towards deeper audience connection, shows held exclusively in the Concourse will fully adopt a ‘no phones’ policy, encouraging fans to stay in the moment, immerse themselves in the music, and connect with those around them and the artists, without the filter of a screen.”
Aiming to create a space for “a more mindful rave”, the clubbing institution has said it will share images and videos on social media after each event.
Sam Kandel, Founder of The Warehouse Project, said: “We want to take the clubbing experience back to its core, which is being in a room with like-minded people feeling connected through music. We also want people to have a piece of the night to remember it by and share with friends, which is why we are sharing our amazing content with everyone at the end of the evening.”
As well as the no-phones policy, the press release also mentions brand-new toilet facilities across the venue, improved entrances to reduce queuing and improve flow throughout the venue, and upgraded viewing platforms for VIPs.
The Warehouse Project has also recently announced The Hacienda, Marlon Hoffstadt's Party of the Year, Overmono, and more. Keep up to date with all info, including dates, lineups and tickets, here.
