Legendary midweek clubbing institution The Tuesday Club celebrates its 18th birthday this year. Since its inception in 1998, The Tuesday Club (TTC) has seen hundreds of thousands of clubbers pass through the doors of The Foundry at Sheffield Students Union, which has been its home since it started all those years ago (except for a brief excursion to The Leadmill and Fez Club during the venue's refurbishment in 2012/13).
Throughout its history, TTC has remained at the forefront of dance music in Sheffield, introducing successive years of students to the sounds of hip hop, house, drum 'n' bass, dubstep, garage, reggae - spanning genres across the full spectrum of UK bass music and beyond!
TTC has a dedicated team working behind the scenes to bring the biggest names in underground dance music to the Steel City week in, week out. Whilst the team has changed over the years, the longest serving member is its resident DJ, Andy H. Having first played the night (and headlined!) as part of Break Division, Andy has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the business, whether at The Foundry or at festivals around the UK and Europe representing the TTC brand internationally.
Entering its 18th year, TTC is pulling out all the stops this year with a season jam-packed with exclusive appearances, national tours, and returning favourites.
They blow out the candles on Tuesday 8th November with a line-up featuring some of their favourite DJs over the years, including Mala, Randall, Preditah and more. Room 2 hosts a Sheffield takeover, featuring local favourites K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade and the TTC All-Stars.
