With Halloween season all but here, Birmingham's Rainbow Venues have unveiled how they plant to celebrate this annual evening of nightmarish behaviour on October 31st.
The Haunting will return once more to the enormous Midlands venue, and will feature two full street closures, dozens of street entertainers, and a full on zombie experience with a myriad of flesh eating monsters desperate to tuck into a meal of raver's brains.
But what about the music? As ever, Rainbow Venues have put together a line up of supernatural sophistication with deep house warlock Route 94 leading the charge in the Warehouse. The chart topping success story (relive 'My Love' above) has found himself at the forefront of the modern deep house movement of late, thanks to being championed by everyone from Skream and Benga to Radio One tastemakers Mistajam and Annie Mac.
Alongside his original productions, he's also been in serious demand on the remix, with the likes of Breach, Katy B and MK seeking out that Route 94 touch. Brimming with sunshine, soul and grooving bass lines, Route 94 will definitely conjure the dancefloor demon in you.
Things get a bit deeper in the Garden, with 8bit boss Nick Curly leading the charge (read our recent interview with him here), whilst fellow German tech house pioneer Andre Galluzzi and local hero Samu.L (check out his mix above) round off the announcements so far, with plenty more to follow.
