The City Calls call it a day

This is the hardest thing weve ever had to announce and also one of the most unexpected but it is with heavy hearts and much sadness we announce that after 4 years as a band, The City Calls has come to an end.

The reasons behind this are not due to any of us falling out. It's been a build up of circumstances that are unavoidable and need attention before they get worse.

As many of you know in early 2012 we had a line-up change as John, Chris and Darren could no longer continue the touring schedule and all the other commitments that you have to do as a band, that were planned.

We had plans to write new music, make new music videos and tour a lot more but there have unfortunately been some obstacles in the way that are stopping Lucas from being able to continue TCC with 100% commitment.

This then left us with the very hard decision as to what to do with The City Calls and after much thought and many discussions it was decided the best thing to do was disband. With Scotty being the only original member it would not feel like the same band that a bunch of friends made back in 2009.

Were so proud of everything we have achieved with this band all the experiences weve had and all the great people, bands and friends we have made along the way which, leads us on to thanking the many people who have helped us out while weve been doing this band of ours.

Every band weve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with and every promoter who has ever booked us and gave us a chance to share our music.

And finally a thank you to all our fans and anyone who has checked out our music, come to a gig and bought our music and merch. Without you guys, none of this would have been possible. So thank you & we love you.
