Whatton House of Horror

When: 6th - 31st October 2022

Where: Whatton House in Loughborough

After their award-winning horror park last year, the team at Whatton House are setting up again for a scare park like no other. This year sees two terrifying trials, set in the 17th Century, in the time of the Witchfinder! Set throughout the woods of the area, you will be transported back to a time of witchcraft, plague and evil entities. You can also traverse into the dungeons of the Witchfinder, and watch him brutally interrogate the accused witches, as they beg for mercy. this one is not for the faint of heart, but for you horror and adrenaline junkies, it will be one fear-inducing fiasco.

Scare Kingdom Scream Park

When: Every weekend in October, and the entire week of Halloween

Where: Scare Kingdom Scream Park Blackburn 

Voted the UK’s best Halloween attraction Scare Kingdom offers guests the ultimate Halloween experience combining live scare actors, special effects and heart-pumping thrills, across seven attractions and experiences for daring families, thrill-seeking adrenaline junkies and courageous kids. There are five different scare mazes, 1 scare experience, and a licensed bar with food and retail available as well. It's great fun, just remember a spare pair of undies, as once you enter a maze, the only way out is through the other end!

Fear Factory Live

When: Every Friday - Sunday in October, including the Thursday before Halloween weekend.

Where: The Bakehouse in Darwen

After winning awards for best newcomer at Scarecon (yes that is a real event), Fear Factory is back in Darwen with two paranoia-inducing mazes for you and your mates to tip-toe around as you try and hide behind each other. The first maze is Mr Blooms Haunted House, a house hiding a dark web of debauchery, torture and bloodcurdling massacres. Maze two is a rather unassuming bread factory, where after dark, the chimney smoke turns black and a putrid smell fills the air. Discover the secrets of the factory at your own risk, just don't say you weren't warned!

Satans Slammer

When: 13th - 31st October 2023

Where: Weston Lawns Farm Bedworth

Satan’s Slammer is a house of demonic correction, a labyrinthine prison for the diabolically insane. Their crimes: human sacrifice, experimentation, cannibalism, and death by dark arts. Some say the inmates are no longer human, and the Governor is a demon worshipper, but all that's for you to find out this Halloween. You’ll laugh, you’ll scream.. you’ll need spare underpants (prison issue naturally), but be warned what you encounter will drive you to the very edge of sanity – prepare to meet the face of pure evil as you travel the Devil’s own dungeons!

The Session House of Horrors

When: 27th - 30th October 2023

Where: The Sessions House Spalding

The Sessions House of Horrors is a terrifying and adrenaline-filled Halloween scare event set in a former Court House in the heart of Lincolnshire. Now in its Third year, The Sessions House has transformed into a new beast. The Court cells are plagued with tormented souls, and the towers have been abandoned as people have ventured up and never returned, and it's up to you to find out why. Don't miss this intense, scare-filled experience this Halloween, but be warned, it will give you nightmares that Freddy Kruger would be happy to invade!

Scare Asylum Live Horror Maze

When: Thursday 27th - Saturday 29th October 2022

Where: Raze The Roof Indoor Play And Laser Tag in Penryn

Whilst a Halloween scare event at a Lazer Tag arena may not turn a lot of heads, this is no kid’s party. For 3 nights Raze will transform into an insane asylum experience, featuring live scare actors, corridors with non-stop twists and turns, and jumps around every corner! The Asylum has been testing a serum on its inmates to see if their twisted and evil minds can be altered. However, it did not do what was intended, the serum enhanced the psychopathic tendencies of the inmates turning them into zombies. Most of them have escaped their bonds and murdered the staff, and it's up to you to find the antidote and save the world, pretty wicked eh?
