The Best Halloween Events to Attend in Birmingham

Halloween is almost upon us and there have been plenty of amazing events added in Birmingham, we thought we'd pick out the very best.

October is here which can only mean one thing, it's time to celebrate Halloween. This year we can do it properly, so some amazing events have been announced up and down the country. We don't have to stay in for a movie night, this time we can go wherever we like as the dead rise up and the evening begins to have an eerie chill.

There are plenty of things to do in Birmingham, where fright night is particularly fruitful this year. We've picked out some of the best events in the city for you to enjoy this Halloween. Click on the event titles for more information.

 

Magic Door Halloween

When: Friday 29th October

Where: Lab11, Birmingham

Magic Door are back after an enforced break and there's no better time to make a return than on Halloween. They are going all in with over the top and ridiculous outfits with plenty of glitter to spare. With cosmic production that will bring out some sci-fi horror, this will be one of the most unique parties that you can attend.

They have managed to secure some super-secret guest DJs who they have been trying to put on a stage for years.

Crooked House Halloween Special with Jess Bays

When: Friday 29th October

Where: 24 Market Street, Lichfield

After a hugely successful first edition of Crooked House, they are finally returning for round two and this year they are bringing with them Jess Bays. A frequent tip as one of the hottest DJs in the UK right now, she always puts on energetic and uplifting beats to really get the crowd coming.

Other names will be warming up for her as this one carries on until the haunting hours of the early morning.

Congo Natty

When: Saturday 30th October

Where: The Tunnel Club, Birmingham

Congo Natty is hosting a very special show this Halloween, called The Purge. This is going to be the jungle legend like you haven't seen him before and to make this event even better he's joined by names such as Topcat and General Levy. It really is going to be a night of legendary artists coming together.

Running all the way until 6 in the morning, this is going to be a huge Halloween celebration.

Lab11 Halloween Showcase

When: Saturday 30th October

Where: Lab11, Birmingham

For one night only, thousands of ravers descend upon Lab11 for an evening of grotesque pleasures. The craziest party in Digbeth returns and the whole complex of Lab11 is transformed into a hellish scene but one that is ready to welcome some huge brands and DJs to the stage.

Playing from 4 until the clock strikes midnight, the party will filter off into an afterparty and Birmingham will be in ruins.

Hospitality Halloween: Birmingham

When: Saturday 30th October

Where: The Mill Digbeth, Birmingham

One of the UK's biggest Drum and Bass imprints Hospitality is taking over The Mill in Digbeth this Halloween. Two different rooms will host the likes of Danny Byrd, Enei and Frenetic, it is an absolutely stacked lineup and one that only Hospitality could provide. A fancy dress spooktacular, prepare for some unique Halloween sets.

The Spooky Swamp

When: Friday 22nd- Sunday 31st October

Where: Stonebridge Golf Centre, Coventry

An eerily immersive experience is happening at Stonebridge Golf centre. With cutting edge lighting and lasers, various haunting installations will be placed around a trail that will be plunged into a fog that you will struggle to see through. With various scares coming your way watch out.

As you slowly uncover the surroundings around you, tread carefully and try not to tremble in fear.

Birmingham Techno presents Day of the Dead

When: Friday 29th October

Where: The Tunnel Club, Birmingham

For those of you salivating for a big night out in Birmingham with some of the most bone-shaking techno music that you can find, you're in luck. Birmingham Techno's Day of the Dead is bringing Ben Sims and Regis to the decks to give you the Halloween party that you deserve.

With plenty more names on the bill, monstrous and deadly Techno will be coming at you fast all night, we hope you have the stamina to keep going.

A Nightmare on Trinity Street

When: Friday 29th October

Where: The Mill, Digbeth, Birmingham

A Nightmare on Trinity Street is going to be one of the liveliest Halloween nights happening in Birmingham this year. With both Tom Zanetti and Joe Hunt playing plus even more names to be announced, the dancefloors in the two main rooms are going to be sizzling from the heat.

The spookier you dress the better for this Halloween spectacular.
